  • "Sometimes you can't be at the soccer game and in the board room at the same time." "Instead of trying to fit in, find a way to stand out." "Authentic leaders use their origin stories to make connections." "Women are uniquely qualified to lead." "The playing field isn't even, but I'm going to play anyway, and I'm going to win." "Nothing is more rewarding than making things happen for other people." These are just some of the inspiring words spoken - and heard - at today's Global Women's Leadership Network (GWLN) Georgia Sister Society Program "Being Well and Doing Good" at Gas South Convention Center. GWLN was established by the World Council of Credit Unions in 2009 to advance women in leadership in credit unions and financial cooperatives.
