GEORGIA AQUARIUM CONTEST RULES

OFFICIAL PROMOTION RULES

  1. No purchase is necessary / Membership is not required to participate in the contest.   
  2. Eligibility for Promotion: Beginning 10/13/21. Participation is limited to eligible persons who are 18 years or older and U.S. residents. By submitting any entry you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Promotion period begins on 10/13/21 at 10:00 am EST and ends on 10/14/21 at 11:59 pm EST. One entry per person. To be entered to win, a user must (1) Like our Facebook page, (2) Tag a friend and (3) Tell us what you look forward to seeing at the Georgia Aquarium. Multiple comments do not increase the chance of winning. Entries can also be submitted to georgiaunited@gucu.org with the subject line: Georgia Aquarium Giveaway and must include person's full name in the email copy. Team members of the Credit Union and their immediate family members residing in a single household are not eligible. The winner will be notified by the Credit Union. If any prize is unclaimed, an alternate winner will be chosen. The tickets will be mailed to winner(s) via FedEx 2 Day Shipping and will not require a signature. Georgia United is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
  3. The Credit Union will award a total of one (1) prize consisting of the following: Four (4) general admission tickets to the Georgia Aquarium. No cash or other consideration will be paid. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. 
  4. Winners from previous 2021 contests are not eligible to win this prize.
  5. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  6. By entering this contest, you acknowledge and agree that all personal information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Georgia United's Privacy Policy, which is available at https://gucu.org/privacy-notice. By entering this contest, you agree Georgia United can use all photos and comments entered for any and all marketing purposes. Contest entrants agree that if they win, their name will be published publicly in the comments section of the Facebook ticket giveaway post (see #9). By accepting a prize, a winner consents to the use of his/her name and photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional services without compensation. 
  7. Prizewinner(s) is responsible for all federal, state, local or other taxes or other assessments that may be associated with or imposed upon the winner of any prize in this promotion.
  8. Release of Claims: All winners, members of any winner's household, relatives and persons who use any prize awarded by the Credit Union, and such persons heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators release and exempt the Credit Union and its directors, officers, team members and agents from any and all claims, actions, demands, chooses in action and damages which they have now or any time in the future arising from use of any prize, including personal injury or death.
  9. The name of the prizewinner may be posted at all Credit Union branches and may be published in the Credit Union's newsletter, and other information resources (including the Credit Union's website). For a communication identifying the winner(s) of the prize(s), please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Georgia United Credit Union Attn: Marketing, PO Box 100070, Duluth, GA 30096 within thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the contest.  
  10. One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from among the eligible entrants received by 10/14/21 at 11:59 pm EST and notified through Facebook messenger and in the comments section on the giveaway post by 10/18/21. If the winner submitted their entry by email, they will be notified through email. The selection of a prizewinner hereunder will be final.
